youth ai
We work with young people, and the adults they trust, to develop the knowledge and understanding they need to navigate AI more safely.
about us
At Youth AI, we see artificial intelligence not just as a technical shift, but a relational one. From AI-generated sexual imagery to emotionally manipulative chatbots, these tools often mirror the dynamics of abusive relationships; power without consent, visibility without control, intimacy without safety.
Our work is grounded in healthy relationships education and VAWG prevention, helping communities respond not just to the tools themselves, but to the harms they enable and echo.
YOUNG PEOPLE ARE NAVIGATING new challenges
Empathetic chatbots
that blur boundaries between help and harm
ai bias
that quietly reinforces stereotypes about race, gender, and ability
manipulated images
that distort what’s real — and how they feel about themselves
At Youth AI, we believe that digital literacy isn’t just about eduational skills. It’s about safeguarding, trust, and healthy relationships. That’s why our work is grounded in emotional safety, critical thinking, and the kind of conversations that help young people feel seen, not surveilled.
Our Approach
We translate emerging risks into practical training, creative tools, and space for honest reflection. Together, we build the confidence to support young people not by having all the answers, but by staying curious, connected, and informed.
Young People
We deliver creative, participatory sessions that explore how generative AI works to empower young people's understanding and critical use of these technologies.
Those who Work with
Young People
We offer training for youth workers, educators, and safeguarding staff to explore how generative AI is impacting the safeguarding of the young people they support.
Young People
Our participatory workshops directly engage with young people to explore how generative AI is shaping their everyday lives. That includes how they express themselves, build relationships, stay safe and make sense of the world around them.
Our sessions are creative, participatory and grounded in Applied Arts practices. They open up honest, critical conversations about the tools young people are already using, from chatbots and filters to biased algorithms and AI systems designed to feel human.
We don’t teach young people how to use AI tools, and we don’t tell them what to think. We create space for them to reflect, ask questions and share what they’re seeing, feeling and wondering.
Each session is shaped around the needs of the group, with safeguarding and emotional safety built in from the start.
Those who Work With Young People
These sessions are designed for professionals who work with young people, including youth workers, educators, safeguarding leads, and support staff. The adults that young people trust.
You’re already supporting young people through a world that’s changing fast. The impact of AI is complex, and you shouldn’t have to navigate it alone.
Our training is grounded in research, real-life insight, and a deep understanding of how AI is already shaping identity, relationships, and wellbeing.
We help you make sense of what’s happening, reflect on the risks, and respond with confidence in your own setting.
